Bhubaneswar, Sept. 19 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today expressed delight over Similipal finding a place on the cover of National Geographic magazine.
Sharing his reaction on X, Majhi wrote, "It was joyous for me when I saw the elusive black beauty of #Similipal adorn the cover of the @NatGeo magazine."He described Similipal as the "heart of Odisha," blessed with unique flora and fauna, and a biosphere reserve that has long captivated photographers, nature lovers, and wildlife enthusiasts.
The Chief Minister also congratulated Prasenjeet Yadav, the first Indian to be featured as both storyteller and photographer in a National Geographic story focused on India.
