Bhubaneswar, March 4 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Tuesday expressed deep grief over the death of two youths during a physical examination for the recruitment of Forester, Forest Guard, and Livestock Inspector posts.
The Chief Minister announced a compassionate assistance of Rs. 4 lakh each to the next of kin of the deceased, identified as Byomkesh Nayak of Keonjhar and Praveen Kumar Panda of Sundargarh.
The assistance will be provided by the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
Both Byomkesh and Praveen passed away while undergoing a physical examination for recruitment to the posts of Forester, Forest Guard, and Livestock Inspector in different parts of the state.
