Bhubaneswar, Oct. 9 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today directed the police administration to maintain strict vigil on anti-social, disruptive, and suspicious elements across the state. Chairing a review meeting on the law and order situation with senior civil and police officials at the Lok Seva Bhavan, the Chief Minister said certain vested interests were attempting to tarnish the image of Odisha, a state known for peace and harmony.
He urged the police to deal firmly with such elements and ensure heightened surveillance across sensitive regions.
Officials informed the meeting that the situation in Cuttack had largely normalized, with the curfew lifted and internet services restored.
