Bhubaneswar, May 24 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has instructed officials to expedite and complete the development and preservation of the Govardhan Peeth in Puri, associated with the Shankaracharya.
Chairing a meeting, the Chief Minister urged the members of the Shankaracharya Peeth Trust Board to inform the government about the specific developmental needs of the Peeth, which plays a key role in preserving Sanatana Dharma and promoting Advaita Vedanta.
He directed that all developmental activities be carried out in close coordination with the district administration to ensure timely and efficient execution.
