Bhubaneswar, June 17 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on today strongly condemned the alleged gang rape incident at Gopalpur beach and assured that exemplary action would be taken against all the accused.
Terming the incident "a crime against humanity," the Chief Minister said such acts are highly condemnable and no one involved will be spared. He affirmed that the strictest punishment permissible under the law would be imposed.
Acting on the Chief Minister's directive, the police swiftly arrested all ten individuals allegedly involved in the case. Majhi emphasised that everyone connected to the crime - whether directly or indirectly - will be apprehended and dealt with according to legal provisions.
