Bhubaneswar, Feb. 21 -- In a major push to accelerate industrial growth and strengthen its position in high-value sectors, the Odisha government has approved 10 large-scale industrial projects with a total investment of Rs.44,241.97 crore. The projects are expected to generate 8,765 employment opportunities across eight districts of the state.

The proposals were cleared at the 44th meeting of the High-Level Clearance Authority (HLCA), chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. The approvals reflect the state's strategic shift from traditional industries to technology-driven manufacturing, renewable energy, and advanced infrastructure.
