Bhubaneswar, Jan. 31 -- The Odisha Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, on Saturday approved the 'State Council on Science and Technology' scheme aimed at popularising science and technology among the general public, especially students.
The scheme seeks to foster a scientific attitude and temper through a range of educational programmes, exhibitions, and competitions. It will be implemented over a period of five years, from 2025-26 to 2029-30, with an estimated outlay of Rs 254.85 crore.
