Bhubaneswar, April 10 -- In a landmark move, the Odisha Cabinet on Friday approved the Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Policy for Rural Drinking Water Supply - 2026, aiming to ensure sustainable and reliable drinking water services across rural areas of the state.
Briefing the media after the cabinet meeting, Chief Secretary Anu Garg said the state has made remarkable progress in recent years under the Jal Jeevan Mission and various state initiatives. These efforts have enabled widespread access to Functional Household Tap Connections in rural households.
