Bhubaneswar, April 10 -- : The Odisha cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, on Friday approved the Atal Bus Stand scheme to revolutionize the state's public transportation system.

As per the scheme, Atal Bus Stands will be established across key locations, including District Headquarters, Sub-Divisional Headquarters, Block Headquarters, Urban Local Bodies (ULBs), and popular tourist destinations.

This initiative aims to enhance social unity, stimulate economic growth, and drive inclusive development throughout Odisha while prioritizing environmental sustainability.
