Bhubaneswar, Sept. 29 -- The Odisha cabinet today approved a lowest tender of Rs. 146 crore for the development of the Maa Tarini temple complex in Ghatgaon,in Keonjhar district, addressing long-standing demands of devotees.

The cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, awarded the project to Dillip Construction Private Limited.

The development will cover an area of 56.206 acres. The Odisha government has emphasized a holistic approach to enhance the temple complex.

The project aims not only to fulfill devotees' expectations but also to boost the overall economic growth of the local area. Official sources stated that the work is expected to be completed within 24 months, with a total expenditure of Rs. 226 crore.
