Bhubaneswar, Feb. 21 -- The Odisha Budget 2026-27 underscores the state government's commitment to building a sustainable, infrastructure-driven, and globally competitive tourism sector, said J.K. Mohanty, Chairman of the Hotel and Restaurant Association of Odisha (HRAO), on Saturday.
Welcoming the budget presented by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday, Mohanty praised its recognition of tourism and hospitality as key drivers of Odisha's economic growth.
"The budget provides a strong impetus to tourism with a 25 percent increase in allocation and several forward-looking initiatives," he said.
