Bhubaneswar, Jan. 6 -- The day-to-day work at the block headquarters office in Rajnagar under Odisha's Kendrapara district remained paralysed for the fourth consecutive day as employees continued their cease-work protest against the alleged attack on the office head by a local BJP leader and his supporters on January 2.
The agitating employees, demanding the immediate arrest of the accused, alleged police inaction against those involved in the attack on an on-duty woman Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) officer.
"The stir will continue until the culprits are put behind bars. We feel unsafe as ruling party members are intimidating and misbehaving with us. Such incidents have become a regular occurrence," the protesting employees alleged....
