Bhubaneswar, Sept. 1 -- The Odisha unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announceda series of programmes to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 75th birthday, which will be observed as Seva Diwas (Service Day) from September 17 to October 2.

The celebrations will take place at the mandal, district, and state levels.

Announcing the plan at a press conference, BJP State General Secretary Jatin Mohanty said the programmes will include "Swachhata Abhiyan" (cleanliness drives), blood donation camps, free health camps at PHCs, CHCs, medical colleges and private hospitals, as well as exhibitions and cultural activities.
