Bhubaneswar, May 10 -- Following the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, Odisha has intensified coastal security measures, deploying drones and enhancing round-the-clock surveillance along the entire coastline.
Additional Director General (ADG) of Coastal Security, Arun Bothra, stated that a high-level meeting was convened on Saturday.
The meeting was chaired by the DGP of Odisha Police and attended by senior state police officials, along with representatives from the Indian Army, Navy, and Coast Guard.
Bothra said the primary focus of the meeting was to strengthen coastal security, particularly as several critical installations are located along the eastern coast.
