Bhubaneswar, Oct. 18 -- Odisha has been recognised as the Best Performing state in the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan under the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Yojana for its exemplary efforts in promoting tribal welfare and participatory development.
Mayurbhanj district was adjudged the Best Performing District under the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan, while Keonjhar district received the same honour under the Dharti Aaba Jan Bhagidari Abhiyan.
The awards were presented by the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, at a programme organised by the union Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
