Bhubaneswar, Aug. 21 -- The fourth session of the 17th Odisha Legislative Assembly will begin on September 18 and continue till September 25, according to a notification issued by the Assembly Secretariat. The monsoon session will be short, with only seven working days. Of these, six have been reserved for official business, while September 19 has been earmarked for Private Members' business, including bills and resolutions. Political observers predict that the session is likely to be stormy, with the Opposition-BJD and Congress-expected to corner and embarrass the ruling BJP government on several contentious issues.
