Bhubaneswar, Feb. 13 -- The Odisha Assembly on Thursday condoled the demise of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and former MLAs Bijaya Kumar Mohanty and Sadan Nayak, who passed away during the period between the last session and the current session of the House.
Soon after Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati completed his address on the opening day of the Budget session of the Assembly, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, also the Leader of the House, moved an obituary reference.
Majhi expressed his condolences on the passing of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and the two former MLAs, requesting Speaker Surama Padhi to convey the Assembly's sympathies to the bereaved families.
