Bhubaneswar, July 25 -- The State has taken a major step in advancing its renewable energy agenda by approving fresh projects with a total capacity of 178 MW and an estimated investment
of Rs 869.8 crore, an official said here today.
The approval was accorded during the 12th meeting of the Single Window Committee (SWC) held yesterday, under the chairmanship of Vishal Kumar Dev, Secretary, Energy Department.
The meeting was attended by key officials including the Managing Director of GRIDCO, Directors of GRIDCO and OHPC, EIC (Electricity)-cum-PCEI, and other senior members of the Committee.
