Bhubaneswar, June 16 -- The Odisha Government on Monday approved eight transformative industrial projects, with a total investment of Rs.1,51,239.50 crore, expected to generate over 60,200 job opportunities.

The approvals were granted during the 41st High-Level Clearance Authority (HLCA) meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.

These projects span across six districts-Dhenkanal, Ganjam, Jajpur, Keonjhar, Khordha, and Sambalpur-and cover strategic sectors including Aluminium, Chemicals, Steel, Textiles, and Ancillary & Downstream Metal industries.
