Bhubaneswar, Oct. 24 -- Director General of Police (DGP) Yogesh Bahadur Khurania today urged all sections of society to join hands in making Odisha a model state in the fight against human trafficking.
Inaugurating a state-level conference on human trafficking at the Police Bhawan, Khurania said that human trafficking remains a serious concern not only for Odisha but for the entire nation.
The DGP emphasised that if the judiciary, police, Women and Child Protection Units, Labour Department, voluntary organisations, and members of society work together, this heinous crime can be effectively eradicated.
