Bhubaneswar, Dec. 8 -- Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday stated that Odisha aims to be among the top five states in India by 2036. Replying the Odisha Assembly during a debate on the Additional Expenditure Appropriation Bill of Rs. 17,440 crore for the current financial year, CM Majhi expressed confidence in achieving this target.
He said, "Every budget of our government is bringing us closer to this goal."The Chief Minister highlighted that over the past eight months, the government has been implementing various programs in line with the budget provisions.
The budget focuses on improving livelihoods, infrastructure development, social security and welfare, and strengthening Odisha's identity.
