Bhubaneswar, Aug. 8 -- The Odisha Government, in collaboration with IIT Madras, is developing
a pioneering real-time Road Safety Dashboard, Road Awareness and Traffic Harmony, aimed at building safer roads through data-driven strategies and community participation.
The State has undertaken several landmark initiatives, including the monthly observance of Zero Accident Day (ZAD), the Come Home Safe campaign, deployment of the "Surakhya" mascot for community engagement, and technical capacity-building programmes in partnership with premier institutions like IIT Madras.
The new Dashboard will unify these efforts under a single, data-powered platform to enhance impact.
