Bhubaneshwar, Dec. 8 -- The Centre has identified four places in Odisha for the development of airstrips under the Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS) - UDAN, a minister told the Rajya Sabha on Monday.
Replying to queries by BJD members Niranjan Bishi and Subhasish Khuntia, the Minister of State, Civil Aviation, Muralidhar Mohol, gave the information in the Lower House.
The proposed airstrips identified for development include Rangeilunda, Amarda and Rairangpur (Dandabose).
Under the RCS-UDAN, four airports in the state - Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Utkela and Jeypore - have been operationalized, the Minister added.
