Kendrapara, May 13 -- Forest personnel from Bhitarkanika National Park on Tuesday recovered the body of a 4.8-feet-long male estuarine crocodile from the Kochia river bank near Silapokhari village in Rajnagar block.

According to Manas Kumar Das, Assistant Conservator of Forests (ACF) at Bhitarkanika National Park, the crocodile's body, which bore injury marks, was sent to the local veterinary office for a post-mortem examination.
