Mumbai, Aug. 30 -- While the Maratha community continues its agitation in Mumbai demanding reservation under the Other Backward Classes (OBC) category, OBC leaders in Vidarbha have launched a chain hunger strike to protect their existing quota.
National OBC Federation leader Babanrao Taywade has asserted that OBC reservations will not be compromised under any circumstances. He urged the government to honour its assurance of safeguarding OBC rights.
