Nagpur, Sept. 2 -- The OBC Front today accused the Maharashtra government of deliberately creating the ongoing deadlock between the Maratha and OBC communities over reservation and demanded that it take immediate steps to resolve the issue.
Addressing mediapersons here, OBC Front leaders alleged that the government's lack of clarity and political manoeuvring have intensified tensions between the two communities.
They emphasised that whilst the OBC quota is a constitutional right, granting Maratha reservation by encroaching upon it would be unacceptable.
