Patna, Dec. 11 -- Bihar Agriculture Minister Ram Kripal Yadav on Thursday said that the state government is strengthening nursery-based plant production to support agro-forestry.
Yadav said here that it will help increase farmers' income and boost the rural economy.
He said that the government is committed to expand agro forestry on a large scale. Under the central Agro Forestry Scheme, the state has approved Rs 3.28 crore for the year 2025-26 to increase green cover, protect the environment and provide farmers with good-quality plants at low prices.
