Chandigarh, Nov. 26 -- A lawyer from Nuh district, Haryana, has been arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and local police on charges of spying for Pakistan's intelligence agency, ISI.
The accused, identified as Rizwan, son of Zuber from Kharakri village in Tawar block, reportedly practised law at Gurugram courts.
Rizwan is alleged to have communicated online with individuals based in Pakistan and engaged in suspicious financial transactions.
Based on intelligence inputs, authorities conducted a thorough investigation and uncovered digital evidence from his mobile, including WhatsApp chats and call records, which led to his arrest.
