Kochi, April 22 -- National Statistical Office has successfully executed a "Plantation Drive" as part of the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the erstwhile National Sample Survey Organisation (NSSO).
The event, which coincided with the global observance of World Earth Day, was held at the Kendriya Bhavan office premises in Kakkanad, where many Central Government offices are located.
The Plantation Drive symbolises the importance of environmental conservation and the green lushness of nature. This day emphasises the need to maintain ecological balance and protect the planet's natural resources.
