Chandigarh, Nov. 25 -- Amritsar witnessed unusual security activity late Monday night as National Security Guard (NSG) commandos conducted a surprise drill at the historic Durgiana temple, sources said.
Local police cordoned off the area before the operation, closed nearby shops, and restricted public movement. According to officials, the exercise was not announced in advance and was kept confidential to test preparedness for a possible terror attack or emergency.
