New Delhi, Sept. 1 -- State-run Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd. (MTNL) has been fined by NSE and BSE for non-compliance to meet SEBI (LODR) regulations 2015 as per the filing submitted by the company.
The SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations 2015 are a set of rules by the Indian Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) that mandate listed companies to maintain corporate governance standards and transparently disclose important information to investors and the public.
