Kollam, Sept. 10 -- The National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) and the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) jointly organised a seminar on "Introduction to the Security Market" in this district of Kerala, aiming to enhance financial literacy and promote safe investment practices among government officials.
Delivering the keynote technical session, Suraj Mohan, Director of SEBI's Southern Regional Office, underlined the need to rely on government-approved institutions to ensure both safety and transparency in investments.
He also highlighted SEBI's initiatives in strengthening investor protection and regulatory oversight.
