Lucknow, April 29 -- The certification of health facilities under the National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) has significantly strengthened public confidence in government hospitals across Uttar Pradesh, official sources said here on Tuesday.
Sources said that the growing number of patients in OPDs, the rise in surgical procedures and the increasing volume of diagnostic tests, from Ayushman Arogya Mandirs to District Hospitals, stand as testimony to the improved healthcare services in the state. "Due to the Yogi government's farsighted policies, 1,059 health units in UP have received NQAS certification so far," they said.
