Shillong, Dec. 24 -- The National People's Youth Front (NPYF) of the ruling National People's Party (NPP) in Meghalaya has strongly condemned the actions of Bajrang Dal members in Delhi for harassing women wearing Santa hats.
In a statement issued here, the NPYF said, "This incident goes far beyond moral policing; it is a clear case of religious persecution, intimidation, and mob vigilantism.""Targeting women for wearing festive attire associated with Christmas reflects a disturbing attempt to criminalise cultural and religious expression in a secular democracy," the statement said.
