Hyderabad, June 1 -- The National Platform for the Rights of the Disabled (NPRD) will intensify its movement demanding the continuation of the Disabled Welfare Department as a separate entity and implementation of promises made to persons with disabilities during the Assembly elections, said NPRD Telangana State General Secretary Y Adivaiah.
Speaking at the State Committee meeting held in Chikkadapalli under the chairmanship of State President K. Venkat on Sunday, Adivaiah criticised both the Centre and the State for neglecting the rights and welfare of the disabled.
