New Delhi, Dec. 20 -- The 105th meeting of the Network Planning Group (NPG) on Friday reviewed eight major infrastructure projects including seven rail and one road aimed at strengthening multimodal connectivity and improving logistics efficiency under the PM GatiShakti National Master Plan.
The meeting evaluated projects proposed by the Ministry of Railways and the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways for their alignment with integrated infrastructure planning, last-mile connectivity, and a whole-of-government approach.
The initiatives are expected to reduce congestion, cut travel time, and deliver wide-ranging socio-economic benefits in their respective regions, Ministry of Commerce & Industry said in a statement.
