Lucknow, July 22 -- The Uttar Pradesh government has directed that there should not be any delay in the mutation of land or properties if there is no dispute and that it should be completed in 45 days.
The order also says that District Magistrates (DMs) and Divisional Commissioners will also be responsible if there is a delay in mutation of land or properties.
State principal secretary revenue P Guruprasad has issued a government order recently and has sent instructions to all the divisional commissioners and DMs.
According to officials here on Tuesday, on the basis of a system given in the Revenue Code, in non-disputed cases, the transfer will have to be done within 45 days. In disputed cases, the decision will have to be given within ...
