Mumbai, Oct. 11 -- Mumbai Police have arrested 59-year-old Ravi Mallesh Vora, better known as DK Rao, a close associate of gangster Chhota Rajan, in connection with an extortion case involving a city-based builder.
Two of his accomplices, Meet Bhuta and Anil Parirao, have also been taken into custody, and all three are currently being interrogated regarding their alleged roles in the crime.
According to police sources, Rao was apprehended last night for allegedly demanding Rs 1 crore from a builder through threats and intimidation.
His two associates were arrested early this morning, following the registration of a formal complaint that led to the FIR and subsequent arrests.
