Lucknow, Dec. 11 -- The Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) has arrested Nasreen Bano, alias Badam-infamously known as "Lady Don"- from Lucknow for her involvement in a large-scale drug trafficking racket.
Nasreen, who headed a major narcotics network, carried a reward of Rs 50,000 and was wanted by the Bahraich police.
STF officials conducted a raid in Faridipur village under the Thakurganj police station limits on Wednesday evening and apprehended Nasreen while she was attempting to flee. For the past six years, she had been running an extensive brown sugar (heroin) distribution network and had managed to evade arrest.
