Notification issued for election in five Lok Sabha seats of Bihar

Patna, March 28 -- The notification for conducting elections in five Parliamentary constituencies of Bihar was issued on Thursday.

According to Election Office sources, with the issuance of the notification, the nomination process for Kishanganj, Katihar, Purnia, Bhagalpur and Banka Lok Sabha constituencies began.

The last date for nomination is April 4 and the papers will be scrutinised on April 5. The candidates can withdraw their nomination By April 8.

These 5 Lok Sabha seats would undergo polling on April 26 and the counting of votes would be held on June 4.
