Patna, Oct. 10 -- The Election Commission today issued the notification for elections to 121 Assembly constituencies out of the total 243 in Bihar, to be held in the first phase on November 6.
According to the State Election Office, the candidates can file their nomination papers till October 17. Scrutiny of nomination papers will be conducted on October 18 and candidates can withdraw their nominations till October 20.
Polling for the first phase of the elections will be held on November 6 and the counting of votes will be done on November 14.
The first phase of polling will cover 121 Assembly constituencies including Alamnagar, Bihariganj, Singheshwar (Reserved), Madhepura, Sonbarsha (Reserved), Saharsa, Simri Bakhtiyarpur, Mahishi, Kus...
