Washington, July 2 -- US President Donald Trump has announced that he does not intend to extend the suspension of reciprocal trade tariffs, which is scheduled to expire on July 9, media reports said.
"No, I am not thinking about extending [the tariff pause]," Trump told reporters aboard AF1.
Trump also mentioned that his administration will soon send out one-page letters to US trade partners, congratulating them on their right to conduct business with the United States, Sputnik news reported.
The US president stated that the tariffs imposed have generated approximately $129 billion in revenue for the United States, and more is coming.
