Lucknow, Feb. 13 -- Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday made some sharp statements in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly regarding law and order, religious traditions, and the opposition's stance.

Referring to the incident that occurred during the Magh Mela in Prayagraj, he said that not everyone can be a Shankaracharya, and no one is above the law.

Speaking in the Assembly, Chief Minister Yogi said that the traditions of the four Peeths and the decorum of the Vedas, established by Adi Jagadguru Adi Shankaracharya, are established. Violations of these rules will not be tolerated.
