Tehran/Washington, April 2 -- On Day 34 of US-Israeli strikes on Iran, tensions in the region are high after US President Donald Trump announced an intense military campaign in Iran lasting three to four weeks.

Iran has readied its forces for a potential ground invasion by the US, as the commander-in-chief of Iran's army urged operational headquarters to track the movements of the US and Israel "moment by moment," keeping a close eye on the enemy's methods of attack.

In a video shared by Iran's government IRNA news service, Armed Forces chief Amir Hatami was filmed during a meeting with other army leaders.

"If the enemy attempts to carry out ground operations, not a single person should survive," IRNA summarised Hatami as saying.
