Jammu, Dec. 18 -- The Northern Railway Safety Committee on Thursday conducted a detailed inspection of Jammu railway station and operational facilities.
Senior Divisional Railway Manager, Jammu Division, Uchit Singhal said passenger safety and security are top priority and guidelines are regularly issued to divisional officers. Special and detailed inspections are conducted periodically by senior officers, he added.
"In line with this safety policy, giving paramount importance to safety in rail operations in the division, a high-level safety committee from Northern Railway Headquarters conducted a comprehensive inspection of Jammu railway station and various operational facilities," Singhal said.
