New Delhi, Sept. 8 -- Following a rise in sudden heart attack cases across the country, especially in the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Delhi Division of Northern Railway has intensified efforts to enhance emergency preparedness, including training more frontline staff in first-aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) skills, at major railway stations across the national capital.
After organising a five-day training programme from May 5 to 9, early this year, the Northern Railway Divisional Hospital resumed the sessions on September 2, further advancing efforts to strengthen life-saving capabilities among railway staff.
