Kohima, Dec. 11 -- The Naga Students Federation (NSF), under the aegis of the North East Students Organisation (NESO), observed the North East Black Day against the imposition of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) at Naga Solidarity Park here on Thursday by hoisting black flags and holding a rally.
Chairing the programme, NSF general secretary Kenilo Kent called the CAA unjust, discriminatory in nature, and a direct threat to the indigenous people of the Northeast.
"We oppose it because our homeland is not just a physical space; it is the cradle of our identity, culture, and history," Kent added.
