Srinagar, May 19 -- Normal life remained crippled for the fourth successive day on Sunday in parts of south Kashmir due to strike against militant and civilian killings.
A police official said that there were no restrictions in any part of the valley though security forces remained deployed in strength to maintain law and order in sensitive areas.
Even though there was no strike call given by any separatists group, shops and business establishments, which remain open on Sundays, was closed and traffic was off the road in Pulwama, where three Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) militants, including a top commander, a civilian and a soldier were killed in an encounter on Thursday.
