Thiruvananthapuram, Oct. 18 -- The Kerala Government's comprehensive health and accident insurance scheme for Non-Resident Keralites (NRKs), Norka Care, will be promoted through a special outreach event titled "Norka Care Snehasparsham" in Chennai today.
The event, organised by Norka Roots, aims to create awareness about the scheme's benefits among the Malayalee diaspora in Tamil Nadu.
Under the Norka Care scheme, each family can avail of health insurance coverage of Rs 5 lakh and group personal accident insurance of Rs 10 lakh, with an annual premium of Rs 13,411.
The policy offers cashless treatment through over 500 hospitals in Kerala and more than 16,000 hospitals across India.
