Hyderabad, Jan. 9 -- Telangana Chief Electoral Officer C Sudharshan Reddy on Friday warned that Registered Unrecognised Political Parties (RUPPs) in the State that fail to submit mandatory financial reports within the stipulated timelines would be treated as legally non-compliant and could face action.
In a statement, the Chief Electoral Officer said RUPPs are required to file contribution reports by October 31, submit audited annual accounts within one month from the due date of filing income-tax returns, and furnish election expenditure statements within 75 days of Assembly elections and 90 days of Lok Sabha polls.
